In the Site Preferences > Email Layouts and User Defaults section you can define different fields of data which are included on different email notifications (Tasks, Notes, Versions, etc). Right now the fields which you are able to access is limited to data on the immediate record. It would be handy if the API dot syntax could be employed to pull data through from entity link fields. For example if a description field on the Project to which a Task belongs was needed in the email, the syntax would be as such:
