I'm fairly new to using Shotgun in a production environment and am building up our process bit by bit. We have a small team but have the need to work closely together and swap project files around rapidly. This most recent film we finished, I used the SEQUENCE entity to delineate which AE project a shot was located in. I was trying to avoid having to manage 200 separate AE project files so we lumped groups of shots into projects and worked with them that way. That being said, we still had issues of locating where certain shot was on the server and how to figure out who had what files open. I'm curious to know how everyone solves these type of issues. I'm sure I can improve vastly how I'm implementing Shotgun here and I'm looking for some tips and workflow examples.
