Desktop APP does not work

Hi, 

I've install the Desktop App with administrator privileges, but it keep in the state of getting site details. Are there some adjustments need to be done in shotgun?

The version of our site is v5.1.21, is that caused?

    Hi Zhy, sounds like you are using the Desktop app on Windows.  If so there should be a log file off you your home directory in the "AppData/Roaming/Shotgun" folder name "tk-desktop.log".  Could you send on that log, either here or open a support ticket with us at toolkitsupport@shotgunsoftware.com?  I'll take a look and see what is going wrong.

    If it isn't windows, then the same log file can be found in either "~/Library/Logs/Shotgun" (on OSX) or "~/.shotgun/logs" (on Linux).

    We weren't able to launch the SG Desktop on our Win and Mac machines. On Win we have the following error "Template project not found." I attached the log file.

    Any suggestions?

    I also checked the log file on Mac. It has the same error.

    Here is the responce that I get from SG team which fix it:

    "Ok, it looks like the Template project (which there are a few things in Shotgun that depend on) has been renamed and then deleted on this site.

    If you look in the Trash, it is the one named "Animation_Template Project". If you revive that project and rename it back to "Template Project" then things should start working."

    Kirill, thanks for posting that follow up!

    And for anybody following along at home, we're working with Zhy on her issue through a support ticket.  The issue there is that there are some extra steps that Shotgun support needs to do to set Toolkit up for a studio that has a local install of Shotgun.
