Filter and delete updates from the Activity Stream

We've heard feedback from clients that they'd like to be able to filter or delete updates from the Activity Stream. This would help keep the stream clean and have only the important info visible.

Please add your support to this feature request if you'd like to see this developed in the future.

Yes, that's a good point Tony. We'd need to make it clear if you are wanting to delete the Entity itself or merely hiding it for a more condensed version of the Activity Stream. If it's the latter, perhaps the ability to pin or flag certain updates as important (that then appear at the top of the stream) would be preferable.

+1 for the admin settings on the each page with Activity tab. Would be great to filter out some events from the stream. Here are two cases we're currently faced:

    a) Using SGTK we can have many publishes for one type of work like shot: softimage scene, emdl file & version. So all those items get into stream, but actually, we need only one - Version.

    b) Working with outsource vendors i'd like to filter out all, except items regarded to the 'Outsourcer' user group.

+1 for filtering Toolkit Publishes, Either by only showing Primary publishes and having their secondary publishes listed as links like in the notes link style, or having a filter with option to choose your Tank Types to display.

It would be a great benefit filtering for example all notes related to shot in the activity stream (in the shot views).

+1 for filtering Toolkit publishes, +1 for filters on type of contents showed.

We would also like to be able to hide completely the Activity tab for some pages, to avoid confusion for less skilled users.

    +1 from ILM

I'm hearing a lot of chatter after this idea was floated with artists that it would be a much better overview of what's going on in a shot than digging around here and there for notes
