We have arbitrarily tall images that occasionally exceed the hardware maximum texture sizes. When we exceed the maximum texture size, the image appears to have a lower resolution, and zooming doesn't help resolve the image. It would be nice if RV could accommodate for this and still show the original pixels of the image regardless of exceeding the maximum texture size. Perhaps the internal mechanism would break up the image, but to the user the difference would not be noticeable.
