Running tk-nuke in batch render mode

I have a problem with initializing the tk-nuke on renderfarm in batch mode.

When I try to initialize tk-nuke I get this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/Nuke7.0v8/plugins/nuke/callbacks.py", line 72, in onCreate

Is there a possibility to start tk-nuke without GUI (this is needed for me to render the writenodes on the renderfarm

Looks like you have run into a bug! Normally, the nuke engine handles non-ui mode just fine but in this case it looks like there is some sort of error that has happened, and the error reporting mechanism is trying to report it via the UI.

Quick update! That bug is now fixed and I have pushed a patch release to our app store. Could you get the latest nuke engine (using the tank updates command) and try again? Hopefully there will be a more helpful error message!

For general information about how to run toolkit on the farm, I recommend the documentation for the nuke write node:  https://support.shotgunsoftware.com/entries/95440797
