I Updated our App Launcher Settings But Shotgun Is Still Using the Old Settings

Note: This document describes functionality only available if you have taken control over a Toolkit configuration. Please refer to the Shotgun Integrations Admin Guide or contact support if you do not have a more advanced configuration.

Toolkit caches the menu items for the Launcher for performance reasons. When you update any of your config/env/shotgun_*.yml environment files, Toolkit will regenerate the menu cache automatically. However, if you update the settings for any of your tk-multi-launchapp instances in your config/env/includes/app_launchers.yml file, you'll need to clear the menu cache manually.

You can clear Toolkit's Shotgun menu cache by running the following tank command:

tank clear_shotgun_menu_cache

The next time someone clicks on a Toolkit menu in Shotgun, this cache will be regenerated. Since it's stored in the pipeline configuration, this cache will now be updated for all users.

What to use when using cloud configs and tank command is not available?

this command didn't do the trick on python console

    tk.get_command("clear_shotgun_menu_cache").execute({})

    Hey team!

Did this command ever get updated to work with the new sqlite setup? It doesn't look like it from the code. Any updates?
